First issue of the Sonatina anthology series. In the flesh! I have a distinct memory of meeting Dylan in Brooklyn, basically for the first time, and him showing me a book’s worth of Burger Dude originals. An entire stack of drawings that could’ve stood in for the finished work. Flipping through the bristol. Crazy inspiring.

ouafouaf: Getting catcalled while riding my bike in the rain (with both tires flat) this afternoon was awful; luckily, this cool comic compilation from Scott (and Scott himself of course) totally saved my day/night from gross truck drivers and bad weather/vibes! Scheherazade! I’m glad I helped advert some of that Saturday night torment! Haha. It was nice meeting up. Psyched to see how your drawings develop! Got taaaaalent.

It’s like, I can’t deny that the tone of Leah’s collection is different from the Sonatina stuff, but I love the drive of the whole thing. Definitely comics worth supporting.
